The Technical Library of the CAASL is located on the Ground floor of “Supreme Building “ 64 , Galle Road , Colombo 03 , which also the CAASL premises.

Services available:

Reference facilities : The library is open to public for reference work , Monday to Friday from 8.30-to 4.15pm

Photocopy facilities:
Photocopying facility of selected aviation documents is available for public at the library. Rupees 5/= is charged per page.

Sale of Civil Aviation publications
Manuals , Inspectors hand book , Maps and Aviation safety notices are sold to public .

Government publications : Technical library holds a complete collection of all Legislative Enactments in bound volumes , and all Acts passed sine 1995 up to date also in bound volumes . In addiotion library holds avation related gazette notifications .

Other publications : Library contains rules regulations , advisory circulars of other countries , accident reports , annual reports, aviation related publications journals including ICAO journal .

Library catalogue : The catalogue database gives information of publications held by technical library . It is possible to search by author , title , subject and document number. A standard level of search is available , which is menu driven and offers on screen help .

The library uses Universal Decimal Classification UDC as its classification tool for the other aviation related publications.
