Strategic Objectives

The objectives of the CAA Corporate Plan is to further the safety, security and efficiency of civil aviation in conformity with the principles enshrined in the Convention on International Civil Aviation for harmonious development of civil aviation activities in the country. To this effect, the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka will perform the following: . Enhance Aviation Security and Air Transport Facilitation (Av. Sec);

• . Enhance quality in Aerodromes and Navigation Services (A&NS);
• . Enhance competency of personnel engaged in civil aviation activities,  sensitive to flight safety (PEL);
• . Enhance safety in aircraft operations (Ops);
• . Enhance safety in aircraft engineering and maintenance of Aircraft (Aw);
• . Enhance quality of services of Air Transport Providers (AT);
• . Align national laws with International laws on Civil Aviation (L);
• . Strengthen the Corporate culture of the CAA (HR/FM);
• . Enhance Quality Management System of the CAA (IA);
• . Enhance the CAA’s capabilities for investigation of occurrences in Civil Aviation (AI); and;
• . Undertake specialized tasks to promote civil aviation (SP).
