The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) recently welcomed Ms. Thameema Kemal, newly appointed Commercial Manager – Sri Lanka of Flydubai, who paid a courtesy call on Capt. Daminda Rambukwella, Director General of Civil Aviation and Chief Executive Officer of the CAASL, at the Authority’s Headquarters.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss Flydubai’s current operations in Sri Lanka, future expansion plans and opportunities to further strengthen air connectivity between Sri Lanka and the airline’s expanding international network. Discussions also focused on continued collaboration to facilitate the safe, secure, efficient and sustainable growth of international air services.

The Flydubai delegation expressed its appreciation to the CAASL for its continued support and constructive engagement, particularly highlighting the Authority’s efforts to maintain a progressive and enabling regulatory environment that facilitate.
